Our comprehensive reports will be made available to you by personal login within 24 hours after your inspection. Each report is detailed, including photographs to convey the nature of specific findings. To make the home buying experience easier, we offer every client access to the state-of-the-art Create Request List™(CRL™) feature by HomeGauge. CRL™ allows you to create a Repair/Request list (or project list) directly from the inspection report and attach it to your agents repair addendum form. The CRL™ is a sleek and practical digital interface that allows users to collect findings directly from their report and itemize them into a convenient list of necessary projects and repairs. This information can then be shared with your real estate agent to include with the standard repair addendum that will be presented to the seller of the home. Radon is a radioactive gas that comes from the breakdown of naturally occurring uranium in soil and rock. It is invisible, odorless and tasteless, and can only be detected by specialized tests. Radon enters homes through openings that are in contact with the ground, such as cracks in the foundation, small openings around pipes, and sump pits. Studies have shown that exposure to radon can cause chronic and severe health problems. Every home should be tested.
Wood Destroying Insect (WDI) Inspections can be performed with or without a general home inspection. A WDI inspection covers the visually accessible areas of a home and includes an inspection for termites, carpenter ants, carpenter bees, and reinfesting wood boring beetle. The inspection will point out conditions that could lead to infestation or support-hidden infestation. These include firewood and other debris stored against the home, wood siding contact with the soil, and grade, which does not slope away from the foundation.
All WDI inspections use the National Pest Management Association report format NPMA-33 that is recognized by most states and is the preferred report format for FHA, HUD and VA mortgages.
