We understand purchasing a home is one of the most important decisions you will ever make. During your home inspection, we will report on any potential problems and defects in order to protect you from unexpected and potentially costly repairs.
Your home inspector will take the time to explain the significance of the issues. The inspector will report on minor and major deficiencies so you have a full understanding of the home you are buying.
Every home inspection is performed in a meticulous, methodical and organized manner. We inspect every home as if we are purchasing it for ourselves.
All home inspections comply with the Standards of Practice as set forth by The State of New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety. New Jersey Standards of Practice require that we provide the client with objective information regarding the condition of the major systems and components of the home as determined at the time of inspection.
Your home inspector will perform a non-invasive, visual evaluation of readily accessible areas. The inspection is limited by the limitations, exceptions and exclusions as contained in the Standards of Practice, N.J.A.C. 13:40-15,16.
We inspect the following components:
-Foundation and Crawlspaces
-Decks and Balconies
-Exterior (windows, doors, siding)
-Interior (windows, doors, floors, walls, ceilings, stairs)
-Fireplace and Chimney
-Attic, Ventilation and Insulation
Home Inspections will take 2.5 hours on average for completion. Our goal is to perform a thorough inspection in order to provide our clients with a detailed report.
Our home inspection report is descriptive, accurate and contains photos of defects and recommendations for repairs.
Your home inspector will diligently prepare your inspection report, which will typically be delivered electronically within 24 hours of the end of your inspection.
